The process

How working with us looks for shipyards

  1. Framework enquiry

You tell us quantities, yacht types and typical destinations – we prepare a framework offer with clear terms.

  2. Slot & route planning

For each hull number we plan route, daily runs and crew – matched to your handover dates and the season.

  3. Delivery with status reports

Takeover directly at the yard pier, technical check, delivery on her own keel – with continuous updates to your dispatch team.

  4. Handover & documentation

Handover to customer or dealer including protocol, logbook and report – with owner familiarisation on request.

From experience

The maiden passage in professional hands

A new yacht's first long leg reveals what series production and final inspection cannot: how all systems behave in continuous operation. Our crews run in new yachts gently, document anomalies in a structured way and give you solid information for rework and warranty – before the customer steps on board.

We also handle short technical transfers between yard, outfitter and handover port – fully documented, with a condition report.

FAQ

Questions from shipyards and dealers

How is the yacht insured during delivery?

In addition to the yacht's hull insurance, our skippers carry subsidiary professional skipper liability insurance, typically with cover of up to 6 million euros. Details are aligned with your requirements in the framework agreement.

Do you take over directly at the yard pier?

Yes. Our crew takes over the yacht at the agreed berth – on request including final outfitting check, bunkering and clearance. The pre-departure technical check is always part of the process.

Are short-notice slots possible?

Often, yes – our network of permanent skippers, crews and around 1,000 berth-for-work sailors allows fast reactions, provided route and weather window can realistically be planned. Under framework agreements we reserve capacity for your season.

What does a series delivery cost?

That depends on yacht type, route and quantity. For recurring orders we work with framework terms – you receive a transparent calculation with no hidden costs. Send us your key data for a concrete framework offer.
